4-Star Level of Excellence Award

We have received our 2025 4-Star Level of Excellence (LOE) award from MOAA!  Every year, MOAA’s chapters compete to receive a 4 or 5-star levels of Excellence Award. The award is a lookback on the 2025 calendar year programs, initiatives, and successful experiences of councils and chapters. 

Out of almost 400 MOAA affiliates, 158 councils and chapters earned LOE award recognition this year. These councils and chapters excel at supporting and fostering programs that directly support the MOAA mission and their communities. The entire 2025 list of LOE awardees has been published on MOAA’s website.  

2025 Col. Marvin J. Harris Communications Award

We are proud to announce that VIPMOAA’s Newsletter and Website received the MOAA Five-Star Communications award in April 2026. 

The annual Col. Marvin J. Harris Communications Awards recognize councils and chapters that achieve excellence in communicating with their members and communities. MOAA affiliates nominated themselves in two categories: newsletters (print or electronic) and websites. Submissions were judged on design and content. For the 2025 program year, there were 227 communications awards.
