Membership Chair – Works closely with the Website Editor to maintain the database of Chapter members in the Administrative section of the VIPMOAA website.  Maintains an Excel spreadsheet identifying all categories of our members to cross check with the Chapter online database. Coordinates with national MOAA to identify potential new members and ensures MOAA has accurate Chapter membership data.  Report the membership status to the Board and for publishing that status in the

Newsletter. Recruiting is an Executive Board responsibility, not only the Membership Chair. Welcomes new members and maintains a record of those members who have died. Obtains nametags for new members and spouses.  Develops and recommends membership dues levels. Coordinates the annual membership renewal process. Coordinates the outreach Partnership Program to ascertain member status, encourage meeting attendance and membership renewal.
