Kathy retired from the AF Reserves July 2001 as a Major, after 22.5 years of military service. Kathy continued to work as an RN in Vermont (for 12 years) in various settings: Department of Corrections, Long term care, the classroom (adult ed and high school LNA instructor) and Summer Camps.  Since moving to Virginia in 2013, she has worked as an RN in Long term care, home health and hospice, and most recently Riverside Rehabilitation Hospital in Yorktown.  She “retired” in 2023 but maintains her RN license.  She is active in the Virginia Medical Reserve Corps, outreach programs in her church and community, and has been attending VIPMOAA meetings these past few years with her husband Craig (Maj, AF, Retired).
